나의 시선은 삶의 찬란한 정점에 머물기보다, 그 너머에서 조용히 반복되는 순환의 흔적을 따라간다.
보이지 않지만 분명히 존재하는 시간의 결, 사라짐 이후에도 남아 있는 미세한 기척에 더 오래 시선을 둔다.
삶과 죽음, 자연과 인간은 대립하지 않고 하나의 선 위에서 조용히 이어진다. 끝이라 여겨지는 지점은 또 다른 시작의 문턱이 되고,
사라짐은 곧 다른 형태의 존재로 스며든다. 그 사이를 통과하는 시간은 언제나 고요하지만, 그 안에는 거스를 수 없는 질서와 리듬이 있다.
빛이 스치고, 그림자가 남고, 물성이 닳아가는 과정을 통해 생의 유한함은 오히려 더 또렷해진다.
이 기록이 관람객에게 단순한 상실의 감정으로 머물지 않기를 바란다. 삶의 유한함을 슬퍼하기보다,
그 유한함이 거대한 자연의 질서 속에서 얼마나 조용하고도 아름답게 조화를 이루는지 목격하는 시간이 되기를 바란다.
끝과 시작이 겹쳐지는 자리에서,

The Boundary of Life and Death
My gaze does not linger on the most radiant peaks of life, but follows the quiet traces of cycles that repeat beyond them.
I dwell longer on the grain of time—unseen yet undeniably present—and on the subtle presence that remains even after disappearance.
Life and death, nature and humanity, do not stand in opposition; they are gently connected along a single line. What is believed to be an ending becomes the threshold of another beginning, and disappearance seeps into a different form of existence. The time that passes through this in-between is always still, yet within it lies an irrevocable order and rhythm.
As light brushes past, shadows remain, and material surfaces slowly wear away, the finitude of life becomes all the more distinct.
I hope this record does not remain merely as a feeling of loss for the viewer. Rather than grieving life’s finitude, I hope it becomes a moment to witness how that finitude quietly and beautifully harmonizes within the vast order of nature. At the point where ending and beginning overlap, I hope we can come to feel together that what we see is not disappearance, but continuation.
